expertise of its founders. Based in Naples, it operates in the sector
of scientific translations and localization - the translation and
adaptation of a product to the socio-cultural context in which it
is to be used. Business & Languages localization enhances the
value of a product by tailoring its content as well as its linguistic
form to the specific requirements and practices of its target market.
To this end Business & Languages is organized for maximum versatility
and flexibility, ensuring we can meet the needs of different users
precisely.
We consequently work in two parallel and synergic sectors that can
be brought together to maximize the benefits of our service. On the
one hand we take the form of a team of translators offering in-depth
knowledge of advanced terminologies. This makes us ideally placed
to operate as supervisors in planning and coordinating groups of highly-skilled
translators. While on the other hand we offer DTP services in FrameMaker,
Interleaf, Quark X press, PageMaker.
Business & Languages undertakes translations from English,
German and French into Italian, serving an extensive area thanks to
our use of advanced telematic tools (Pc and Mac platforms, NT server,
Fast Ethernet LAN, ADSL leased line, own mail and ftp server, mirrored/duplexed
disk drives, UPS, daily backups, ecc.).
We mainly work
with companies outside Italy, located in France, Belgium, Germany,
the United Kingdom, Ireland and the USA in particular. But Business
& Languages technology means we can in fact provide the same level
of close personal attention practically anywhere in the world.
